The Bayelsa Medical University (BMU), is a State owned University funded by the Bayelsa State Government, established in 2018 under the Henry Seriake administration and approved by NUC to commence academic activities on 31st January, 2019. The university was setup to offer varying medical programmes to the populace.

Direct Entry (DE) Entry Requirements to Bayelsa Medical University, BMU

  3. O’level result
  4. A’level result (for Direct Entry (DE) students only). The University accepts a minimum of Lower credit for Direct Entry candidates or its A’level equivalent.
  5. Passport Photograph

Note
a. All Candidates should possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects at not more than two sittings, and are further advised to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal as a pre-condition for admission.

The total school fees for non-indigene students of Bayelsa Medical University is N592,050. The total school fees for indigent students of Bayelsa Medical University is N487,050.

2nd Instalments: 40%

3rd Instalments: 20%
