Many NDU Post UTME applicants are seeing invalid user information in the NDU screening platform when they entered their application details. Many applicants have been worried over the state of their application.
Before we talk about how to resolve it, let’s discuss why your “user information is invalid”. The NDU screening portal is loaded with only details of candidates who chose the Niger Delta University as first choice. Moreover, the system is also coded to reject applications of candidates who scored below certain cuttoff marks.
Take for instance, if you chose Federal University, Otuoke (FUO) as first choice, and you entered your details in the NDU screening portal, your application will be rejected. If you applied for Medicine when cutoff mark is 250 and your score is 249, your information will also be rejected.
This means all the details of candidates who chose NDU and are qualified had been supplied and the parameters and coding has been entered into NDU portal in advance. The system automatically detect that you either did not chose NDU, scored low, etc. and show you invalid user information.
But later, some candidates changed to NDU and could not still register due to the problems above. Some who scored below cutoff for certain programmes also changed their programme to those of lesser cutoff.
If you did change of institution newly, you may not be able to process your NDU post utme application because NDU have to download data from Jamb on those who changed programmes of study and institution. Sometimes, it may take several days or even a week or more before your data downloaded from Jamb will be entered in the NDU screening platform before you can apply.
So, if you did change of institution, ensure you wait for a minimum of one week before you raise concerns. If your application is getting too close to the deadline, yet your details have not reflected, then visit the NDU Teesoft ICT office at main campus, Amassoma.
