Many admission seekers often mention applying for Direct Entry (DE) admissions without knowing that DE admissions requirements are not the same as normal Jamb admissions.
To gain admission as a DE student, you must have a higher certificate known as A’level result. It is this certificate that qualifies you as a DE applicant. So, if you have only O’level, which is WAEC/NECO, you cannot be talking of DE admissions.

As opposed to the freshers, DE students commence their classes in 200 level and not in 100 level. There are also rumours that in some school, DE students start in 300 level. However, we are unable to confirm that at the moment.
