Meanwhile, the Minister of Education, Prof. Adamu Adamu today having received results from various ASUU branch congresses have given high assurance that the ongoing strike action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will be called off this week.
Campus Catch also reported that some of the ASUU branches are yet to hold their congresses thus, unable to report back to their national head. The report had it that ASUU branches who are yet to hold their congresses will do so today or latest on Monday.
There is possibilities that this may affect the overall reply from ASUU national if they are to wait for feedback from these delayed chapter congresses.
