Abstract
This study on the strategy for effective utilization of Information and Communication Technology in Accounting Education in Niger Delta University shows that the university have Information and Communication Technology facilities and that these facilities are used for educational purposes (research and learning), communication purposes, recreation and computation of result. The respondents stated that constraints to the use of Information and Communication Technology in the university include irregular power supply, lack of Information and Communication Technology skills, high cost of Information and Communication Technology facilities, poor funding, constant breakdown, and lack of awareness. It was recommended that the government should be engaged through advocacy to make laws and provide funds for Information and Communication Technology development. There should also be adequate training of staff and students to facilitate effective use.
