Abstract

This study determined resource management and effective administration of principals in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State to ascertain how effective administration can helps principals manage their school effectively. The survey design was adopted for the study. The population of the study is 12 (twelve) principals from all the schools. A self structure questionnaire was used and simple percentage and arithmetic mean was used for data analysis. Findings revealed that poor infrastructural facilities is one of the major problem that affect Effective Administration of school. Recommendation made include; there is need for massive increase of public spending in education at all levels; federal, state and local government.
