Youths of Warri took laws into their hands today to ensure that the prizes of goods in the market remains the same as it was before the pandemic in Nigeria as the cost of many goods have skyrocketed in the market.
Eyewitnesses today Monday 30th reported that some boys in Ubeji axis of Warri went into town to check on the prizes of goods as traders’ wares selling at exorbitant prizes were destroyed. See post below:
It was also reported that today being Effurun market day, Effurun boys rallied round the market to enforce N700 per basket of garri. Traders were forced to sell at N700 or no sales at all.
Although buyers still report buying at NN1,200, they however, commended that youths for their efforts.
