The Niger Delta University have released another date for its 5th Convocation Ceremony which was earlier slated to hold last August. Recall that the NDU 5th convocation was initially purported to hold on the 10th of August, 2019. However, the office of the NDU Public Relation Officer (NDU PRO) pointed out that the date later clashed with local government elections, hence, it was shifted till further notice. However, another date has been fixed and we have confirmed the date from the office of the PRO and institution’s website.

The Niger Delta University has fixed Monday 20th to Saturday 25th January for its 5th convocation ceremony. This was confirmed from the PRO Mr. Idoni Ingezi who replied to our message that “convocation is for 25th January 2020”. A further confirmation from the institution’s website indicates that the information has been uploaded in Upcoming Events section of the portal which is the official portal for the university.

To participate, attendants are to process their convocation receipts of N7,500 online. This fee is however, often tied to the statement of result/certificate fees of N12,000 making it a total of N19,500. Those who must have processed their receipts already while in school are not to process it again but to use the receipt they have to get their convocation kits from their Faculties.
