Owing to the Eid-el-Kabir celebration which is to take place next week, the Federal government had declared 12th and 13th August, 2019 a National Public holiday. This has made the NDU to readjust its 2019/2020 post UTME examination timetable. Although the exams are not postponed, some days which the holidays affected has been shifted to the immediate upper week.

The Shifted Programmes

Based on the adjustment on the adjustments in the timetable, the following programmes has been affected.

  1. All programmes writing on Monday 12th August, 2019 will now write on Monday 19th, 2019
  2. All programmes writing on Tuesday 13th August, 2019 will now write on Tuesday 20th, 2019

Programmes that the Shift Affected

The following programmes which were supposed to write on the 12th will now write on the 19th:

Biological Sciences
Geology
Pure and Applied Chemistry (Chemistry)
Computer Science
Mathematics 
Microbiology
Physics
Biochemistry (from CHS), and
Science Education (from Faculty of Education)

Geography and Environmental Management
Political Science
Sociology, and
Social Science Education (from Faculty of Education)

The following programmes which were supposed to write on the 13th will now write on the 20th:

Theatre Arts
Philosophy
Religious Studies
Fine and Applied Arts
English and Literary Studies
History and Diplomacy, and
Law (From Faculty of Law)
Arts Education (from Faculty of Education)
Adult and Community Development (from Faculty of Education)
Guidance and Counselling (from Faculty of Education)
