This fee should be paid directly to the bank for those Faculties collecting this fee. I should not be paid to anyone in cash as that is being done at student’s peril, unless otherwise stated. The account details can be gotten from the Department office.

  1. TELLER OF N2,000 FOR PROSPECTUS, MAGAZINE, ETC.

This should also be treated as No. 2 above.

  1. ONLINE COURSE REGISTRATION FORM

Online course enrolment is a document displaying all the courses you offer. You are required to go to a café and register your courses online. The website for course enrolment is https://www.ndu-eface.edu.ng. The total café charge may be N4,500 for year one and N2,000 for year two and above. Courses in a course enrolment form consist of first and second semester courses for just one session. The charge above is for both semesters.

  1. MEDICAL REPORT

Medical report is a report slip tendered at the sick bay or any other relevant medical center in NDU. Currently, you will process an x-ray receipt in your www.ndufees.com online profile at N4,500 and take the receipt to the sick bay or any other designated place and get your blood sample collected for testing. On your return, you will see the doctor for cross examination after which your report will be ready. Once passed, goodluck!

  1. LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA IDENTIFICATION LETTER

This is the Letter identifying you that you are from a particular LGA. By now, you already know LGA identification because you must have used it in your clearance and uploading period, if not, refer to your clearance documents.

  1. BIRTH CERTIFICATE/AGE DECLARATION

Birth certificate or age declaration are different documents that serve the same purpose. If you already have one, no need going for the other. This document mainly serve to identify your age and possibly the place you were born.

  1. LETTER OF ATTESTATION x (2)

This is the same letter you uploaded during clearance. That letter that your community people wrote pleading that they will not do anyhow if you are granted the grace to school in NDU. You are to make photocopies and submit to the Faculty again so that when your community people dom start again, VC will just hold them responsible.

  1. SCHOOL FEES RECEIPT

School fees receipt is a yellow coloured receipt printed from your profile in www.ndufees.com. The receipt is only available in your profile after paying school fees in the same profile. The original colour is currently yellow.

  1. VERIFIED O’LEVEL RESULT

During verification, you are expected to purchase a scratch card for the verification of your o’level result. The officer is expected to check your result online to ascertain whether you designed your result at the café or whether WAEC or NECO really gave it to you. When satisfied, the verifying officer will sign and stamp the result, indicating that an NDU staff has verified it. This will be repeated during clearance for graduating students. This signed and stamped o’level result is the VERIFIED O’LEVEL RESULT.

  1. STATUTORY DECLARATION

The statutory declaration is a form that follows the admission procedure when offered admission. Students are expected to print, go to the court and stamp it. It will be used throughout your stay in the university and the Faculty file opening is a case study.

  1. STUDENT’S PERAONAL DATA FORM

In our earlier post, we have made some explanations on the students personal data form. For this current session, you will only see this form after paying school fees. This form follows the admission letter and clearance certificate. As the name implies, the form consist of your personal information, information that concerns school and some demographics.

  1. CERTIFICATE OF CLEARANCE

This form follows No. 12 above and it is to indicate that you have been cleared to study in NDU.

  1. ACCEPTANCE FORM

The acceptance form is one of the most important and relevant document to a student. It shows that you have accepted the admission granted to you and that you are ready to study. This acceptance form will be ready to any student whom must have paid the acceptance fee and completed the online clearance. If you lost your acceptance form and have not done verification, login to www.clearance.nduportal.com. Click on start clearance. Input your jamb number and acceptance receipt number. The acceptance receipt number is like 8009302 and can be found at the top right of the receipt. Click proceed. If you have done clearance before, this should take you to a page to print the acceptance letter again. This time around, you must keep it well because after verification, no more access to it.

  1. LETTER OF PROVISIONAL ADMISSION

The letter of provisional admission is the second document any student should get from the NDU. The first is the Post UTME form. Initially, the admission letter was available immediately you are admitted. But since many students are not responsive to paying school fees, the management in this session has decided to restrict the admission letter and would only be available upon payment of school fees. The admission letter is the first document any organization would ask of you to confirm you have been admitted to a university. A very good example is the SHELL scholarship scheme.

  1. APPLICATION FORM

As earlier stated, the Post UTME form is the first document all students first got from the Niger Delta University. This form indicates that you registered for the exam and would only be allowed to sit for the exam upon tendering this document. Most students may have carelessly lost their Post UTME Application Form. If you have lost you own, kindly follow No. 14 above to retrieve it.

  1. JAMB ADMISSION LETTER

The Jamb Admission letter is a document indicating you have been admitted in your choice institution of study. The admission letter comes in two slip. One is original and the other is duplicate. Although both contains the same information, the use of original and duplicate is to reserve one (original) for personal use and the other (duplicate) for institutional use.

  1. JAMB RESULT

Finally, the Jamb result is the statement of your jamb subjects you sat for, the grades in each subject and the total score attained in all four subjects. Your passport is appended to it. The Jamb admission letter is often requested in many instances instead of the jamb result.

Conclusion

Although these documents listed and discussed above are the most important ones needed by the Faculty, other important documents exist that you also need to keep. Documents like the acceptance receipt, skill acquisition form, biodata form, matriculation gown receipt, etc. These documents may not be needed for Faculty file opening but you must use them in other offices. For example, the matriculation gown receipt, you must use it for clearance upon graduation.
