Breaking! NDU Makes Back-turn; Adjust 2022/2023 Resumption Date Back to July 28th, 2023

The Niger Delta University has made a back-turn in its resumption date for the commencement of the 2022/2023 academic session. The new calendar was anonymously posted online and confirmed from the Senate Officer by the A & U Ng at 1:30, 06/07/2023 and provided that the 2022/2023 academic session commences July 28^th, 2023.

Although the document being shared online is not signed; however, the PRO, Mr. Idoni Ingezi and the Senate Officer both confirmed the content of the document claiming that “the VC had earlier presented an adjusted calendar for the new session to the Senate for consideration and was approved. This confirms that news of the newly adjusted academic calendar.

Recall that the Niger Delta University had earlier published September 1^st, 2023 in its recent calendar for the 2022/2023 academic session. However, with the delay currently experienced by the university occasioned by the ASUU 2022 8months strike coupled with the 2022 flood, the university is taking advantage of available and have utilized the space between July to September 1^st.

NDU Resumption Date for 2022/2023 Academic Session

The Niger Delta University resumption date for the 2022/2023 academic session is July 28^th, 2023. The schedule is as follows:

NDU First Semester Resumption (2022/2023)

Arrival of newly admitted students:        Monday Friday 28^th July, 2023 

Physical verification of newly admitted students at Faculty:         Monday 31^st July, 2023 to Friday —- August, 2023

Arrival of Returning Students:    Friday 11^th August, 2023

Orientation of newly admitted students:              Tuesday 12^th  to Wednesday to Wednesday 13^th September, 2023. 

Matriculation of newly admitted students:          Wednesday 20^th September, 2023. 

Revision of first semester:           Monday 6^th November to Saturday 11^th November, 2023.

2023/2024 Session Post UTME: Monday 13^th November to Saturday 18^th November, 2023.

GST/CBT/Faculty of Education exams:    Monday 13^th to 25^th November, 2023

Other Faculties:  Monday 27^th November to Saturday 9^th December, 2023.
